The news is that Bollywood music maestro A.R Rahman is going to perform live at the Oscar ceremony. 
81st Annual Academy Awards ceremony will be held on February 22. A.R Rahman has named three Oscar nominations. His three nominations are one for Best Music Score and two nominations for his two songs ‘O Saya’ and ‘Jai Ho’.
If reports are to be believed, A.R Rahman wants to perform ‘Jai Ho’ song and singer Sukhwinder Singh will also join A.R Rahman for the performance.
If Sukhwinder Singh and A.R Rahman perform on stage at Oscar ceremony, it would be the first chance by an Indian music director at Oscar Awards. February 22 will be a great day for Indian people because Danny Boyle’s film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ has got ten nominations incorporating three for A.R Rahman.
