The buzz is that Amitabh Bachchan is ready to team up with the most iconic actor of Hollywood Robert Di Niro. Robert Di Niro and Amitabh Bachchan will work together in a film directed by Paul Schrader.
A source reveals, “The Hollywood director had made a secret trip to Mumbai a couple of months back for location hunting. The person who was helping him throughout the trip was director Anubhav Sinha, who was instrumental in bringing the director to Mumbai and will be collaborating with Schrader on the project. The film will be shot in New York, Dubai and Mumbai.”
He further says, “Amitabh Bachchan has signed the project and all actors will be given a bound script of the film by March next year. All the actors are expected to sign on the dotted line by that time and shooting will start from April 2009.”
Anubhav Sinha stated, “We are teaming up on a big project that will have stars from both Bollywood and Hollywood. But I’ll not be able to disclose details right now.”
On the other hand Amitabh Bachchan has confirmed that Paul Schrader has already had a preliminary discussion about the movie when he was in Paris at that time.
