New Delhi: The Common Admission Test (CAT) which starts online from this year, has been put off due to network problem.
IIM authorities however have denied the report of server crash and said that the exams were not cancelled rather has been rescheduled at certain centers. The problem occurred as some students signed up in multiple centers.
The exam which goes online from this year is scheduled from November 28 to December 7. There will be 105 exam centers in 32 cities across the country
The pattern of the exam as well as questions and distribution of subjects will remain unchanged in the new format. To get an entry to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), over 2.4 lakh candidates are expected to appear the first online test.
