Taipei: Taiwan has warned its travelers regarding bird flu outbreak in China and told them to take precautions when they travel in the respective country.

Centers for Disease Control (CDC) advised travelers heading for China Monday to take precautions.
Reports are buzzing regarding an outbreak of avian influenza in humans in China’s Shandong and Shanxi provinces over the past two days.
Despite fever monitoring on incoming travelers at airports and harbors around Taiwan, the CDC has since the beginning of the year not found any incoming passengers suspected of having contracted avian flu.
CDC Deputy Director-General Chou Jih-haw said that a preliminary investigation into the latest avian flu outbreak in China shows that the cases are all bird-to-human transmissions.
