New York, April 7 (IANS) Hollywood superstar George Clooney has asked police to investigate a mysterious call asking him to dump his girlfriend Sarah Larson.
Pagesix.com reports that the message, which Clooney played to a source, said, “Dude, your friends asked me to give you a message: Dump the bitch before you’re sorry!”
The voice seems to be of a calm middle-aged man. Clooney’s girlfriend was visibly upset and said, “They say that I’m a stripper. There is a ton of stuff about that. I’ve never been a stripper. You know, just because I’m from Las Vegas, I must be a stripper. Because I’m a cocktail server, that means I’m an escort.”
Clooney seems to be certain that it could not be any of his friends playing a prank on him saying, “It’s not a prank – none of my friends would do that.”
They were able to trace the call to a pre-paid cell phone and then tried to see if the suspect had paid with a credit card. But the investigation led nowhere.
Larson has had a bit of a controversial past having worked as a scantily dressed cocktail waitress at the Palm Hotel’s Moon nightclub in Las Vegas. She won a contest on “Fear Factor” by eating a scorpion. It was also revealed recently that she had posed provocatively with a woman friend on a trip to Amsterdam in 2005 where she worked as a promotional model.
She and Clooney met at the premiere of “Ocean’s 13″.
