New York, Aug 7 (IANS) Tim Burton, acclaimed director of hits like “Sleepy Hollow” and “Edward Scissorhands”, was sued by his ex-fiancée Lisa Marie, but the court has dismissed the case.
Tmz.com reports that Marie claimed that the director strong-armed her into accepting more than $5.5 million to end the relationship and walk away. But the California Court of Appeal has dismissed the case. It was supposed to go to trial next week.
Burton is currently dating actress Helena Bonham-Carter.
