The selection committee to pick the ODI team for the Idea Cup in Sri Lanka and the Champions Trophy in Pakistan will meet in Mumbai Thursday.

“The meeting will be held at Cricket Centre in Mumbai at noon,” Niranjan Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), said in a statement Monday.

India is currently playing three-Test series in Sri Lanka. The third Test is scheduled to start Aug 8. The five-match one-day series is scheduled Aug 18-29.

The Idea Cup will also see India ODI captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni making a comeback. Dhoni took a break after the Asia Cup in Pakistan and opted out of the Test series in Sri Lanka, citing exhaustion.
