google android  Expect Android powered home appliances by 2010 After making its way to mobile phones through the Google Android phones, the OS could well make its way into your home through household appliances.

According to Touch Revolution, a company from San Francisco, a few well acknowledged companies have plans to introduce Android-powered household kit this year.

There will be touch screens in the Android appliances with size ranging from 4.3in to 10in and will connect to the web via wifi or wired ethernet.

Home control systems powered by Android will be able to talk to household systems including your lights, locks, alarm systems and air conditioning.

As per the predictions of the Touch Revolution, appliances enhanced by the Android will start to appear before the end of the year in the US and beyond.
