Chandigarh, June 15 (PTI) Honda Siel Cars India today said it is aiming to achieve a growth rate of 10 per cent in sales volume in the current fiscal on the back of surge in demand.
“We are targeting a double-digit growth rate of at least 10 per cent in sales in 2009-10,” Company’s Director Tatsuya Natsume said after launching the Jazz model here.
With automobile sector showing signs of recovery, the company has been able to manage growth of 6-8 per cent in the past two months.
“We have achieved growth of eight per cent in April and 6.5 per cent in the month of May,” he said, adding that the company achieved highest sales of 8,900 units in the month of March this year since its operations in India.
However, it posted negative growth of 10.
