India beat Australia in Mohali Test to take 1-0 lead

India defeated Australia by 320 runs in the second Test match and took a 1-0 lead in the four-match Border Gavaskar Trophy here Tuesday.

Chasing a target of 516, Australia were bowled out for 195 on the final day at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium. India made 468 in the first innings and declared their second innings for 314. Australia were bowled out for 268 in their first innings.
