lgviewtysmart w300 LG plans to bring out a 12 megapixel camera phoneAfter hearing similar plans from Sony Ericsson and Idou, this time LG reveals its plans to launch 12-megapixel camera phone late this year.

LG’s model will not just have to compete in megapixels but also with the 3.5-inch, 16:9 touchscreen, and the combined Walkman and Cybershot expertise.
Much details have however not been revealed about the handset at the moment but they are expected to be available soon. The newly announced LG Viewty Smart can though be considered as a sign of things to come.
The LG Viewty Smart GC900 will hit the shops this month, that is month before its prospective launch. The smartest thing about the Smart is that it doesn’t take any old snap, it’ll automatically analyze the surrounding environment and adjusting the camera settings accordingly.

So that means if you are trying to take a pic in a low-lit environment, the flash will be automatically adjusted. Some of the prime features include a 3-inch WVGA full touchscreen, DiVX playback, the same thin as a rake chassis along with the 3D interface seen on the Arena, and it’s a no brainer.
