Promoters behind Madonna and Metallica’s concerts are being probed over claims they failed to pay tax on the stars’ performances.
A group of 13 promoters were said to be under investigation by the National Revenue Agency (NRA).
According to the Sofia Echo, they did not pay a 10 per cent tax levied on gigs in Bulgaria, including performances by the Queen of Pop and the veteran rockers, reports the Daily Express.
The gap was apparently revealed during an overall probe conducted by the NRA into the income of Bulgarian entertainers.
