Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has forgiven the shoe attacker. Before this, a man threw his shoes at Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Ahmedabad.
The shoe landed about 20 feet away. The man is identified as Mukesh and has been arrested.
The incident took place here when Manmohan Singh was entering into the Tagore Hall in Paldi locality of the city.
According to the reports, the shoe didn’t reach the Prime Minister. Mukesh Chauhan and was immediately overpowered by security officials and taken away, reports said.
The Prime Minister stopped for a moment during his speech at Tagore Hall in Paldi as one of his Special Protection Group (SPG) personnel ran towards the spot where the shoe had landed.
