Marilyn Manson’’s concert promoters have dismissed rumors that the rocker has been inflicted with swine flu.
A statement from the promoters of Manson’’s Canadian tour read: “The Gillett Entertainment Group and Live Nation confirmed today that contrary to rumours circulating, Marilyn Manson is not suffering from swine flu.”
However, the singer had admitted of being diagnosed with the disease earlier this month, reports the Daily Express.
He had posted on his blog: “So I have officially been diagnosed, by a real doctor, with THE SWINE FLU.
“I know everyone will suggest that f**king a pig is how this disease was obtained. However, the doctor said, my past choices in women have, in ”no way” contributed to… me acquiring this mysterious sickness. Unfortunately, I am going to survive. M.”
The post has been removed after he finished his Canadian tour with shows in Halifax and Moncton, New Brunswick.
