Martin Luther King Day event was held across New York on Saturday. There is news gushing from the entire corner regarding the events.
East Garden City, Elmont, Freeport, Long Beach, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Oyster Bay and Copiague all the area of New York City celebrated the event in a great manner.
In East Garden City, there were events regarding life of Rev. King. At the same time in Elmont, people paid tribute to Martin Luther King. A portrait in poetry and songs and the civil rights movement he guided were seen.
In a separate celebration, at Long Beach “The Gospel Sons” concert featured gospel music in honor of Rev. King.
