Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney’s girlfriend Nancy Shevell has given up on meat to prove that she is serious about her relationship with the singer.
McCartney is an animal lover and a strict vegetarian, reports contactmusic.com. Shevell seems to be so much in love with him that she has not only become a vegetarian, but she has also given up on her love for crocodile skin handbags.
“Nancy (Shevell) has… given up her beloved steaks, which shocked us. When they travelled around America this summer, they lived on avocado sandwiches and tomato soup. Now Nancy orders veggie food all the time,” said a source close to her.
McCartney’s first wife, Linda, was a avid campaigner for animal rights and she had started her own vegetarian food range which still runs today.
