Indo-US nuclear deal
With the Indo-US nuclear deal approved by the US Senate on Wednesday, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi said that the technology will take the nation into new areas of development.
Addressing a public rally in Panipat on Thursday she said that it will help India meet its increasing energy needs.
The UPA chairperson said with the deal, the development would be more fast-paced as power crisis would end.
Sonia Gandhi harped on its importance, saying generation of power would lead to growth of agriculture and industry and would generate employment opportunities.
