New Delhi: Online CAT exams gave the aspirants panicked attacks due to technical glitches like access denials and system shut down. It displayed the mismanagement at all the centres and the students were obviously frustrated and angry.
This exam is the doorway for them to take admissions at the top B-schools across the nation. But the problems with Online CAT did not allow hundreds of students from the city to either take or complete their test.
There were cancellation of exam, delay in holding the test, log-in problems and computers that crashed midway through the test. Many CAT aspirants are now asking whether Prometric is even equipped to conduct a test of such scale.
A student appearing for the first time said, “I went to the centre on time but they kept me waiting for more than two hours. I hardly found anyone to address my grievance. I did not know what to do. The only solace being that I was not alone and had several panic-stricken candidates with me at the centre.”
