Parliament adjourned as MPs demand relief for farmers

Both houses of parliament were adjourned Wednesday as opposition MPs disrupted proceedings demanding relief for farmers.

The houses were adjourned till 12 noon. In the Lok Sabha, Speaker Somnath Chatterjee warned the MPs that he would take action against them Thursday onwards if they gathered near his podium.
