Rajkhowa handed over to India

New Delhi: Arabinda Rajkhowa, the Chairman of United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA),who was detained by the Bangladeshi agencies, was handed over to Indian authorities at the Meghalaya border today.

According to a source, Rajkhowa along with his wife and two children, his bodyguard Raju Borah, Barua’s wife and son, and wife and daughter of ULFA’s self-styled foreign secretary Sashadhar Choudhury were handed over to the BSF at the Dawki outpost in the Jaintia hills district.

They were then flown to Guwahati and taken into preventive custody, soon after they surrendered in front of the Assam police for completion of various legal formalities.
