New Delhi: Recently, the media reports had claimed that visa papers of the two alleged Mumbai terrorist attacks conspirators, David Coleman Headley and Tahawwur Rana, were missing from the Indian consulate.

The Government said on Thursday that the papers of Rana have been found and of Headley’s are being traced.

Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor said, “Rana’s papers have been found and Headley’s are being traced.”

Both Headley and Rana have been linked to the Mumbai terrorist attack.

The consulate had issued visas to Rana and Headley to travel to India. Both made several trips between 2006 to 2008 to various Indian cities and allegedly helped the Lashkar-e-Toiba in Pakistan to plan the 26/11 attacks.
