Comedian Russell Brand wants to get back his Radio 2 slot a year after he resigned from the BBC over a prank call.
The Brit, along with fellow prankster Jonathan Ross, faced much heat after leaving a series of lewd messages on the answering machine of actor Andrew Sachs, including one in which he boasted about sleeping with the 78-year-old’’s granddaughter.
Brand later apologised for the “juvenile and thoughtless” remarks after the scandal provoked nationwide outrage, reports the Mirror.
But the presenter turned to his Twitter page to request the broadcasters if he could have his job back.
Commenting on a ”trending topic” about the BBC, he tweeted: “Come on. It’’s been a year. Can I have my job back?”
