samsung new phone 300x245 Samsung to launch Android Phone below £100 in 2010Samsung has said that a full-featured Android smartphone can be expected from the company priced under £100 for the coming year.
Addressing the launch of Samsung Reclaim, the eco-friendly phone in the US, Samsung product manager Casey Ryan said that Android phones with touchscreen and full web browsers will be launched at reasonable prices. Whether it will be a contract or pay as you use, is still not revealed.

Samsung is not alone in the line for coming out with an affordable Android phone. Also intending the same is HTC Click.

It is pretty sensible of the cell phone makers to come out with low-end smartphones that are not as functionally rich as the iPhone and are also quite pocket friendly.

So we need to wait till the next year to get hands on the Samsung’s low-end smartphone.
