Sensex 150x150 Sensex down 135 pts in opening trade on Asian cues Recovering from early losses, the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex gained over 60 points at midsession trade on Tuesday on buying by funds at existing lower levels.

The Sensex, which lost nearly 135 points in opening trade, rose by 60.78 points at 15,957.06 at 1205 hrs as heavy-weights like Bharti Airtel, BHEL and ICICI Bank recorded handsome gains.

The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty rose by 18.15 points at 4,729.85.
