Shahid Kapoor’s first film was the Ken Ghosh directed love story ‘Ishq Vishk’ and his film ‘Jab we met’ was a successful film. Now the buzz is that Shahid Kapoor and Ken are coming together with another film called Yahoo that revolves around music, song and dance.
Designer Shabina Khan says, “In Yahoo, Shahid is playing a rookie who wants to become a great dancer. The story moves around his struggle period and how he becomes a dancer.”
Talking about Shahid’s look in the film, she unveils, “It is a boy next door look. Keeping in mind he is a dancer, I have designed his clothes. So he will be seen wearing casual T-Shirts and Jeans.”
Shahid Kapoor states, “I had to lose a lot of my muscle mass as dancers have lean bodies. My work out schedule had to be changed and instead of weights, I am doing more of cardio.”
The makers of the film, UTV Motion Pictures, have come up with a unique way to promote and create maximum awareness for their film. Considering that Hindi films are big among the NRI junta, UTV Motion Pictures along with Verizon Communications Inc. have come up with a Bollywood themed dance competition. The film Yahoo will be released in 2009.
