Bangalore: Krishna Murthy, a software engineer from Mysore was released on bail on Saturday,who was arrested for allegedly molesting a Canadian woman.
According to the reports, Krishna who is a software engineer by profession has been working for a IT company in Mysore for the last four years, suddenly entered her residence seeking water in Vijayanagar III Stage and started molesting her.
The 33 year old Canadian lady is staying in the city with her husband, who is also a post-graduate student in the University of Mysore, was then alone at home.
Krishna was then caught by her neighbors and was thrashed when she raised an alarm and they came to rescue her. He was then handed over to the police.
According to the police, Krishna was released after his wife gave him surety.
