Iomega StorCenter ix4-200d has been declared officially by Iomega. The StorCenter ix4-200d is a modern quad-drive desktop NAS device.
The Appliance is equipped with very prominent storage capabilities and also comes at budget-friendly prices.

Offering block-level access in order to enable a complete use to its storage, the StorCenter ix4-200d gives a networked storage of up to 8TB.
To enhance business continuity and file recovery, device-to-device replication to network targets are also embedded into it. Through the remote access, users will be able to access and manage their ix4-200d from wherever they are. It can also be used as a back up for Mac computer using OS X (10.5 or later) through the Time Machine.
Automatic shutdown of unattended systems is enabled by the USP support. The Iomega StorCenter ix4-200d also features enhanced security capabilities.
