New Delhi: The Unique Identification Number Authority of India project, which is meant for identifying the person,it is not enough to prove a person’s citizenship.
In this project every person will be provided with a unique ID number. It would also include name, birth date, address, family details and finger prints of the person.

Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) chief Nandan Nilekani has said that various banks, tax authorities, utilities and other service providers would be roped in to enroll people for the issue of unique identification numbers.
