Mumbai: Priyadarshan’s ‘De Dana Dan’ starring Akshay, Suniel and Paresh will hit the theatres today. The promos seem to be conveying a message that the movie is funny and hilarious. However the efforts made by the actors to make the audiences laugh are going in vain.
The actresses in the movie, Katrina Kaif, Sameera Reddy, Neha Dhupia & Aditi Gowatrikar are just there to add beauty to the reels.
The same old plot where the actor wants to marry their love, but financial status is a problem and hence they adopt every means to become rich to conquer their love.
In what is called the director’s signature style, the plan to become rich is rooted through the abduction of a weirdly named canine.
Obviously with so many characters in the movie, the film ends with a climax where there is lot of confusion.
It is an average movie.
