New Delhi: Toyota Kirloskar Motors is going to launch Fortuner SUV, in India. If you have been dreaming about a new SUV that would be an envy of your friends, then here is chance.
To be coming to market on 24th August, 2009. Supported by a 3-litre Advanced Common-Rail Diesel engine, this SUV would have a four-wheel drive.
Targeting the urban luxury SUV customer, Fortuner would be the sole entrant of Toyota Kirloskar Motors in to the SUV market.
Deputy managing director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Sandeep Singh, says “The Fortuner is an important addition to our product line-up in India and we are currently in the process of finalizing details for the launch…We are still working out the price details of the Fortuner, taking into account variations in exchange rates, but expect it to be around Rs. 20 lakh”.
