With the help of Shane Watson cracking half-century(93), Australia were 146 for one at the end of 26th over after skipper Ricky Ponting won the toss and elected to bat on a batting paradise wicket against India in the crucial fifth cricket one-dayer at Rajiv Gandhi stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday.
India have made two changes to their side, bringing in Gautam Gambhir and Munaf Patel in place of Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma respectively.
Injury ravaged Australia have made three changes to their side.
Clint McKay has replaced Mitchell Johnson, Adam Voges comes in for Moises Henriques and Ben Hilfenhaus has been drafted into the side for Peter Siddle.
